Thank you for this information.  I have been using email more on a
remote machine where I did not have root privileges and did not
know how to do this.  Now I no longer have to wait on the
generating DFA message each time I write an email.

Thanks again.  And, thanks for the pointer to the dfa section of
the on-line docs.
