[jed-users] jed on MacOS X

Dear jed-users,

I have compiled jed on a MacBookPro (Sierra) and that worked just fine.
However, when I start jed, I have to wait 5 seconds before jed comes up
and is ready to accept commands !  I experience the same effect with
the version I installed with "home-brew".

Has anybody some idea what is going on ? (and what to do to solve this)
