TODO or not TODO

Thanks. Here are some suggestions for the TODO file
looking forward to version 1.0, Xmas 2015:

-   Soft wrapping (no hard line breaks inserted).

-   More generally, features which demand special tags,
    e.g. folding, should be features on the fly rather
    than dirty the text with their tags. A text file is
    not a word processing file even if emacs teaches bad
    behaviour.

-   Highlight on rectangles, i.e. possibly including empty
    screen areas.

-   A number of FIXMEs related to wide characters have been
    waiting for a while.

-   An editor written for text-mode will never match editors
    writtem for X windows. gtk and whatever are candies on
    turds, a waste of time. Meanwhile, text-mode is still
    waiting for countermeasures against keymap despair.
