bug in menu_append_item()

this remembers me to report a problem with 

 menu_append_item(menu, name, fun [,client_data])
 
when called with client_data and a function that takes a variable number
of arguments.

In my Jed Version: 0.99.16, the function will not recognize the
client_data. I suspect, that the variable _NARGS is not set correctly.

(I don't know, whether the problem is already fixed in 99.17)
