It should already do so ;-) However, there was a spurious ";" in
delete_tmp_files. Thank you for the bugreport.

bufsubfile() and helpers is now in bufutils.sl, version 1.5.1 has the bug
fixed.

Also, the new jedmodes.sf.net/mode/ishell/ has a filter_region(cmd=NULL) 
wrapper to shell_cmd_on_region.
