Gnome-db is a package in my (now two years old) Debian distro, here it's
listed as a frontend to libgda, so I suppose you mean a slang module for
libgda.  Maybe Mike Noble can tell you how feasible this is.

Actually in <414741B3.8020902@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, Ben explains why a DB
library like gdbm might be useful for his project.

Not that I'm aware of, looks doable though.
