Hello Ulli,

What I see is your sl-functions to copy to the zz clipboard or to 
paste from it, where the zz clipboard is simply a file in the home 
directory.

But please explain how I can use the zz clipboard between jed (text 
console) and gedit (X11).

For instance, pasting: looks like I just would read into gedit's 
current buffer the file $HOME/.zz. What is new or special about that?
