May I suggest that you make only one change (= one changelog entry) per
commit. Sometimes you have more than one modification in one commit. But
as git is distributed, you can make small commits they are much more
readable.

And it would be nice if you can follow the git style of commit message.
Otherwise git doen't work really good:

% g show-branch -r --list
  [origin/HEAD] Release of 1:0.99.19~pre210-1
  [origin/jo-master] Release of 1:0.99.19-1
  [origin/jo-next] Remove key home/end fix
  [origin/master] Release of 1:0.99.19~pre210-1
  [origin/upstream] jed version 0.99.19 release 225. src/intrin.c, ledit.c: evalbuffer may be given an optional      namespace argument. 226. lib/comments.sl: comment information added for idl (Felix Fuerst). 227. src/wterm.c: "==" was used instead of "=" in the call to      CreateFont.
