You are right, there was a mix-up. To avoid confusion,
I have now renamed jed's rgrep to rgrp. Issuing the
command

    rgrp -D skip * > d_result.tmp

from jed on ubuntu 7.10 gives the correct result in the
shell-output buffer and fails with redirection.
