UTF-8 problems

Hi again,

the following line in UTF-8 mode triggers an error. If I move from left
to right over the characters the cursor junps after the first UTF-8
character to the end of buffer. This happens in jed and xjed.

Name[ja]=Firefox ã?¦ã?§ã??ã?»ã??ã?©ã?¦ã?¶
