If you look at the doc for the new Jedmodes layout,

http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/doc/DC-Metatdata/dcmi-terms-for-jedmodes.txt
or
http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/doc/mode-template/dcdata.txt

you will find that the metadata term

hasPart: ispell; flyspell; vispell; look

might be the right choice here. It would be shown in the mode index
http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/mode/ispell

and thus eventually turn up in google etc.

Also,

abstract: spell checking utilities (ispell, flyspell, vispell, look)

would give the parts a prominent place in the Modes listing
http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/mode/
.

There are plans for a free regexp search in both, metadata and sources
(using grep).

Currently, many sources are archived/zipped, so source-search will have
to wait a bit longer.
