Like you say, they are just stories. I've also seen Perl code that
most would not be able to read. Same holds true with Mumps. BION, the
Mumps built-in database out-performs _any_ SQL engine you can name.
Not bad for an old fogey, heh? and  it's dead-easy to learn. I love it!
