Seems I cannot for any way possible get jed to recognize my set_color stuff in my .jedrc I am using Jed 0.99.16 in Debian unstable. Here is the snippet (the rest is just the stock .jedrc from the debian docs...these are on the very bottom of it) set_color ("operator","yellow","black"); set_color ("number","brightgreen","black"); set_color ("comment","gray","black"); set_color ("string","brightwhite","black"); set_color ("keyword","brightcyan","black"); set_color ("delimiter","brightred","black"); set_color ("preprocess","brightblue","black"); set_color ("normal","lightgray","black"); When I run jed --batch I see this: loading /usr/share/jed/lib/site.slc loading /usr/share/jed/lib/os.sl loading /usr/share/jed/lib/menus.slc loading /etc/jed.conf loading /etc/jed-init.d/00debian.sl loading /etc/jed-init.d/05home-lib.sl loading /etc/jed-init.d/50jed-extra.sl loading /usr/share/jed/site-lib/jed-extra.slc loading /usr/share/jed/lib/mini.slc loading /etc/jed-init.d/55ispell.sl loading /usr/share/jed/site-lib/ispell_init.slc loading /usr/share/jed/site-lib/sl_utils.sl loading /var/cache/dictionaries-common/jed-ispell-dicts.sl loading /home/magi/.jedrc Thus, I know that the .jedrc is being loaded. Any ideas? Thank you. -- _________________________________________________________ Jon-Pierre Gentil PGP: 0xA21BC30E jabber: jgentil@xxxxxxxxxxxx web: www.sebistar.net "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance." _________________________________________________________
