Well, the above line doesnot return a path here either. However, my question
was what does get_jed_library_path() return:
$ jed -batch -f 'message(get_jed_library_path())'
loading /usr/share/jed/lib/site.slc
loading /usr/share/jed/lib/os.sl
loading /usr/share/jed/lib/menus.slc
loading /etc/jed.conf
loading /etc/jed-init.d/00debian.sl
loading /etc/jed-init.d/05gm.sl
loading /home/milde/.jed/lib/home-lib.sl
loading /home/milde/.jed/lib/ini.sl
loading /home/milde/.jed/lib/jed.rc
loading /home/milde/.jed/lib/jed.rc
/home/milde/.jed/lib,/usr/share/jed/lib,.
With this library path, my Jed finds modes in ~/.jed/lib. (I cannot tell
about SLang.)
