read alternative .jedrc?

Is there any way to get jed to read from an alternative .jedrc?  (As
distinct from the different settings you get by setting JED_ROOT?)

I'm trying to run "my" jed from another account; if I set JED_ROOT to
~mjs/local/jed it will find the .sl files, etc., but I want to get jed
to read "my" ~mjs/.jedrc as well.
