I have just finished compiling it on a FreeBSD 2.2.7 system and when I ran
"make runtests" I got this:

The only options I used were "prefix" and "enable-warnings".

I installed it anyway, compiled lynx-2.8.3dev.14 with it and it seems it's
working.
