[jed-users] private variables and functions

Hey,

In jed's 'lib' subdirectory there are a good number of modules with 
private variables and private functions without any reference to any 
namespace.

So for practical purposes 'private' just means only accessible inside 
the module?

So wouldn't it be simpler to declare public variables and functions in 
site.sl and make variables and functions in the modules automatically 
private?
