[Jed-users-l] no screen clear on exit?

For the color handling in xterm of ubuntu 10.04 is broken I have switched
to rxvt.

One annoying behaviour is that jed (and other applications) in rxvt clears
the screen on exit.

The X resource "XTerm*titeInhibit: true" has no effect for rxvt.

For example, "less" has the option -X (do not clear screen on exit).
How can I configure jed to not clear the screen on exit?
