I am also using xjed, debian, xfce4 and these versions (not cuamark,
though) and I do not have your problem. I had a problem som time ago with
occassional "jittery" behavior (placing the cursor somewhere only to see
it jump somewhere else). I have not had this problem since I changed from
the Nvidia proprietary driver to the Nouveau driver - without really
knowing if this change has anything to do with it. Perhaps it is
something worth investigating.
