But in 0.99.19pre175 this was not so. In this version the buffer was not
set readonly. But I've found change 187 where you explicitly installed
this behaviour. So, everything is fine.

In XJed: When setting the file read‐write and pasting something to the
buffer with the middle mouse key, I don't get the y/n question but the
yes/no question. Is this intended? Only a guess: The pasted characters
are used as input stream and because they do not start with y the yes/no
question comes?

And another issue: When pasting a few characters (e.g. 8) I get the
yes/no question. When pasting many characters (e.g. 2490) I get the
yes/no question first *and* than the y/n question.

Next issue: When pasting a few characters, answering the yes/no question
with yes and pressing any key (e.g. T) this character is lost. It doesn't
show up in the buffer. Until the next character will appear.

For all tests I've used pre210.
