I have now highlighted text (though command red instead of string blue)
and goto_match still works!

I have invested several hours before in making this work. It seems easy,
but it was frustrating! 


The documentation of define_syntax says:

  If `type' is `<', the first parameter is a string whose successive
  characters form begin and end keyword highlight directives.

But what kind of syntax element does '<' define?

Is it "keyword"?

When I do a:
set_color("keyword","blue","default");
then my text is in blue, but all Perl commands, too.
