[Q] JED_UTF8 and menu

Hi!

I compiled jed-0.99-18(with slang-2.0.6) on BeOS/Zeta1.1 and
MacOSX10.4.5,but has same problem.

1. jed is on utf8-mode
2. activate menus
3. menu is broken like below...

| Save As          ^X^W  |

| Insert File      ^XI   |

all separator char "-" are long. therefore, Horizontal menu separator is
TOO long.
Is there a any suggestion?
