possible xft changes

Dear John,

It seems that on newer xft/freetype setups, it's not sufficient just
including Xft.h anymore. Xft includes freetype.h, and that could be in
/usr/include/freetype1 and /usr/include/freetype2. *Apparently* one should
make use of freetype-config --cflags to get the appropriate directory.

Do you think this should be done in a packaging-specific way (e.g. on Debian
we don't have any problems with this (yet) but I bring this up because a
Redhat 9 user has reported that Guido Gonzato's SRPMs don't build out of the
box anymore) or can the JED autoconf system be modified to take this into
account?

Thanks,
Charl
